So much to be grateful for

SO MUCH TO BE GRATEFUL FOR

So much much going on here at Hacienda Dominguez & Chelenzo Farms this past week that it is hard not to be grateful.

Just within the last 24 hours we put up new signs, grated Milo’s Crossing, cut and stained 32 pieces of 2x4 for super dim path lights, stained a beautiful banco made by Robert Contreras; made slow-cooked pork for the tamales Chelsea’s making this afternoon and positioned the insulated milk delivery box outside our gate for the daily organic and free range eggs that we’ll soon be offering our friends and neighbors.

Beyond a day, I assembled a dozen six foot 5-shelf units in The Shed, and subsequently got to cleaning and organizing most of it, finally; Enzo and Maddy made an amazing southern style dinner; we went on a family donkey hike at Cerrillos Hills Park and was further inspired to work harder to blaze trails - and eventually, we need to get a miniature donkey for our mascot!; we - Milodeus, Olivia Luz and I played several games of chess, as they prep to participate in the first chess tournament at Turquoise Trail Charter School; we made plans for a family trip to Playa Peñasco on the Gulf of Baja California; and Chelsea and I made kidless other plans to celebrate my birthday by visiting the Petrified Forest and staying in the Presidential Suite at The Rancho Hotel in Gallup after we road trip to Phoenix for cousin Jeff Campion’s wedding in Phoenix - Road Trip!

Wheh!
