Lorenzo Dominguez is co-owner of Hacienda Dominguez & Chelenzo Farms, a regenerative farm in Cerrillos, New Mexico with three operating pillars: education, research and community.

At Chelenzo Farms they practice multiple methods of sustainable agriculture by applying permaculture, organic, and healthy soil principles; indigenous-inspired dryland farming techniques including water harvesting earthworks and planting agave, other succulents and native plants; as well as implementing land conservation and ecosystem restoration methodology.

The farm works closely with the community to resolve food security issues, as well as promote education about sustainable agriculture by hosting workshops on a regular basis. Lorenzo and the farm have been recognized for their work via a number of grants, awards and scholarships including the NMDA Healthy Soil Program and Western SARE grants.
